Beacon Suites Was opened in 1980 when Mike & Lesa Stackpoole first moved to Daytona Beach. Beacon Suites Hotel or Beacon Suites motel (as some call it) was actually called The Rainbow Inn & was comprised of many smaller rooms.
Then in 1988 Mike Stackpoole began renovating the entire property in to just 4 large units. His vision was one of a private place, with less people so the guests could truly escape. The place remained named The Rainbow Inn for many years until they bought and sold 2 other larger hotels, one of which was called Beacon By The Sea Motel. The name was remembered by the guests, so they kept the name with a twist thus The Beacon Suites. So come and stay with family & Make Beacon Suites you're hotel tonight!!!
